Could you show me the application process?

3. A staff from the Ryukyu Bingata Preservation and Expansion Consortium main office will contact you once assessment of the application is complete. Results of the assessment will be available within 1 month of sending the membership application form.

4. Membership fee payment must be made by the specified date once results of the application has been received by the applicant. In general, membership fees must be paid in full on an annual basis (April 1 to March 31 of the following year). Deductions to the membership fee will be made for the first year depending on the timing of the registration.

How are we notified of the application assessment results?

A staff from the Ryukyu Bingata Preservation and Expansion Consortium main office will contact the applicant once assessment of the application is complete via e-mail (by the end of the month following the application).

What is your business year?

The business year of Ryukyu Bingata Preservation and Expansion Consortium is between April 1 to March 31 of the following calendar year.

What are your fees and how are payments made?

A PDF file containing the details of fees and payment method will be sent to new members within a few weeks after they receive their results of their application. Bank transfers are to be made to a designated account. * All billing statements are strictly digital. As such, the Consortium will not respond to requests for statements in paper format.

The business year of Ryukyu Bingata Preservation and Expansion Consortium is between April 1 to March 31 of the following calendar year. For this reason, members who register with the Consortium in the middle of the business year will pay a different amount for their first annual membership fee. Furthermore, billing statement for existing members will be sent out by mid February (payements due by end of April).

How do you handle membership of group enterprises?

Generally, group enterprises must register for a separate membership.
The Consortium asks companies that belong to a group enterprise register as separate members if they wish to download bingata designs or take part in events.
