The Ryukyu Bingata Preservation and Expansion Consortium, general incorporated association (""Consortium"" hereinafter) will promote the protection of personal information by establishing its policy and framework for personal information protection as described below, as well as by addressing to its employees the importance of personal information protection and ensuring that employees thoroughly implement protection measures.
Management of personal information
In regards to the handling of personal information of registered members, the Consortium strictly manages said personal information by taking necessary measures such as maintenance of security systems and administrative frameworks, as well as thoroughly educating its employees in order to prevent the unauthorized access, loss, destruction, tampering, or leak of personal information.
Purpose of use of personal information
Personal information collected from registered members will be used to send e-mails and documents as a way for the Consortium to communicate with the registered member, provide information about the Consortium's business activities, as well as to respond to inquiries made by registered members.
Prohibition of disclosure of personal information to third parties
The Consortium will not disclose the collected personal information to third parties unless one or more of the following conditions apply.
- • When the registered member gives prior consent,
- • when providing personal information to a third party company who is tasked with providing services requested by registered members on the Consortium's behalf, and
- • when disclosure is required by law.
Security measures for personal information
The Consortium takes all possible security measures to ensure the accuracy and safety.
Identity verification
Registered members wishing to make an inquiry about, ammend, or eliminate their personal information must undergo an identity verification process.
Compliance with law and social responsibility and policy revisions
With regards to personal information, the Consortium will abide by Japanese laws and social responsibilities and strive to improve the contents of its personal information policy when necessary.
